Hybrid Participation in Kloten

Between end of April and end of June 2022 an informal participation process took place in the city of Kloten with the lead of IVO Innenentwicklung AG, based on the dføur platform by cividi GmbH.

Users could inform themselves from curated descriptions, images and the fully zoomable maps showcasing the overall urban development concept developed by EG Raumentwicklung GmbH along with the green space and transportation strategies provided by  SKK Landschaftsarchitekten AG and ewp AG.

Over the period of two months, over hundred comments were made - either by setting new markers on the map or by joining existing discussions under previously submitted observations.

The guided city walks were one of the highlights of the process, where participants could learn more about the planned developments around the three topic areas on the spot: 1) life in Kloten, 2) nature & climate change or 3) mobility developments - discovered in a bike tour.
